had a very very nice staff member help us out. they said they were new but were super friendly and chatty. very surprisingly the food prices were cheap. expected a restraunt with that view to be expensive but was very happy with the change. no complaints about the food at that price. good serving sizes. wish we could have seated outside. was a lovely days and the view is amazing.
The food at Crater Lake Lodge was fantastic! We enjoyed breakfast before our hike, and the views were breathtaking. If you plan to visit for dinner, I highly recommend making a reservation. If you don’t secure a reservation, you can still order shareable plates from the bar area and find a seat in the waiting room to take in the stunning scenery.
Loved this stop! It's views were breathtaking and the food was great. I recommend the mushroom brunette and the roasted duck. Note, I wasn't a fan of their mixed drinks - light on the pour.
I was pleasantly surprised with our experience here for lunch - National Park Lodge dining can be hit or miss but this place was very good. We got seated right away, our waitress was super friendly and attentive and our summer salads with chicken were delicious. We were not staying at the lodge, so we did not eat here for dinner so not able to say if it is consistently good.
We enjoyed two beers, some French Onion soup, and the spinach and artichoke dip. The view is spectacular from the deck and the appetizers were delicious. Adrian provided great service from the bar. Reservations are required for the main dining hall. But...why would you want to sit inside?
The beautiful view and atmosphere really set the stage a wonderful experience. I spent hours in the rocking chairs on the terrace overlooking one of the most beautiful lakes I've been to. The staff is super friendly the food and drinks are pretty good. There are still many feet of snow along the road and in the grass areas. Many areas were still closed to motor vehicles due to the snow. Walking was allowed. My advice parking is CRAZY. Don't panic. Keep driving until you reach the lodge. I've always found lots of parking down there, and there is a lot more space. The food and drinks are expensive, but that is to be expected. I spent hours in the rocking chairs on the terrace overlooking the lake. It was such an awesome day. If you are earlier in the day, the sun shines down on the terrace. Later in the day, the terrace is shady and a bit chilly. Bring a sweatshirt. If you get a chance, make sure you stop at Crater Lake. You will not regret it.
Came here on a Monday, no reservation, but it was not crowded so we were seated quickly. We ordered burgers with salad and it did not disappoint. Our server Violet was wonderful. She shared some stories with us and gave us tips about hikes in the area. Would definitely like to stay here next time, such a beautiful scenic spot.
We enjoyed our dinner here. The food and desserts were good and the staff took good care of us. It was great being able to eat here right next to the lake with great views.
